The monthly meeting of the Houston Investors Association will take place Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Melcher Hall, on University of Houston Campus 4800 Calhoun Rd, Houston, TX. (See Location). The main presentation begins at 11:00 AM, and the SIG meetings begin at 8:30 AM. There will be a brief business meeting at 10:30 AM.

Jim Trippon is America’s foremost authority on China investing, using proven investing techniques and principles. As a former forensic CPA, Jim has often utilized his expertise in scrutinizing financial statements as an expert witness in several trials against major US corporations. Jim brings this same attention to financial data when analyzing companies in China. He has been investing in China’s financial markets for years. His team of financial journalists is based in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Taipei, and Beijing. Jim serves as Editor-in Chief of China Stock Digest, from its offices in Hong Kong and Houston.
