The monthly meeting of the Houston Investors Association will take place Saturday, May 14, 2011 at  University Center on University of Houston Campus, Houston, TX.

  • Remember the new meeting location at University Center Building
  • The meeting rooms are the Atlantic Rm 74, Caspian Rm 87, and Pacific Rm 90. All rooms are underground. See Room Map

Speaker: Jeff Friedberg

Jeff earned degrees in Geology and Geophysics from MIT and Caltech. He worked for several years at the Aero Service division of Western Geo[hysical interpreting and processing aeromagnetic data. He founded Friedberg Investment Management in 1979 and his firm presently manages approximately $190 million for about 300 investors.

Topic: “Three Quiet Revolutions”

He will discussion of how new developments are changing the face of energy exploration and production, manufacturing productivity and treatment of disease.
