The July meeting will be the annual Stock Market Round Table, a discussion of market conditions and outlook by selected HIA members and invited guests.

Following a quick review of the Friedberg and Income portfolios, Jeff Jacobi will review in detail the selected stocks of the IBD (CANSLIM).

Trading 101 SIG: Speakers: John Godell & Ron Stockstill

Topic:  “Big Picture, Trades from Books 1&2”

John Godell and Ron Stockstill will review the Big Picture, look at current commodity charts and discuss various trades from William’s Book #1 and #2.

We will begin the discussion with a five (5) minute summary by each panelist of the outlook for the economy and the stock market during the second half of 2013. After the initial presentations on the expectations of the economy and the stock market, each panelist will  pose questions to other panelists on their respective outlooks of the economy and the stock market. In the next section of the Roundtable, each panelist will present his stock recommendations/picks (or ETF’s, MLP’s, Reits, Mutual Funds, Bonds, or cash) in the investing economy that the panelist expects during the remainder of the year.
