HIA Meeting October 12: Paul Charbonnet

Paul and Daniel Charbonnet

Using Fasttrack for Investment Modeling.

small_cdStarting in 1990, FastTrack has provided high quality dividend-adjusted mutual fund, ETF, and stock data. FastTrack’s trading tools started out with simple technical analysis timing techniques, but over the years FastTrack Modeling has dominated their development efforts. The talk will focus on dynamic allocation strategies which produce consistent, low volatility, double-digit returns with minimal trading and great risk-adjusted return. Paul will introduce the concepts using FastTrack for the Web, while Daniel will demonstrate FTRebalance. This new product allows you to design trading models that meet your particular needs. Rebalance works from your holdings to make periodic recommendations about what to sell/buy giving the dollar amount and number of shares to be traded. You may define many models and apply them to many diverse portfolios. ReBalance portfolios range from aggressive active trading to minimal infrequent trading, and may include any mix of funds, ETFs, and Stocks. Special attention is given to limiting draw down.

FastTrack’s special edge is quality data, and all FastTrack strategies have emerged from simple, true total return, daily data . . . a perspective that no other investment product offers.
