John Bott – Parallax Investments, LLC
Topic: “Economic Snap Shot”

Mr. Bott is President and Chief Investment Officer of Parallax Investments, LLC. He as a career that spans over 38 years dealing in municipal, treasury, mortgage-backed securities, corporate bonds and stocks. He has also dealt in commodities, futures, interest rate swaps and all types of mutual funds. His clients have consisted of asset managers, bankers, credit unions, pension funds, foundations, corporations, life insurance companies, municipalities, retirement accounts, and individual clients. He has been a guest speaker in programs for the Dallas Investors Forum, the Woodlands Investors Group, and The Houston Investors Association. Mr. Bott is an alumnus of the University of Houston and Southwest Texas State University and currently lives in Pearland with his wife Debra. They have 7 children and 16 grandchildren.

Houston Investors Association usually meets on the second Saturday of each month at the University of Houston central campus, in the University Center (Student Center South, building 565) .
